The show features characters of Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, and Chinese descent—at least. There are other characters whose ethnicity is not revealed. The word Asian is appropriate here. Just because I’m mostly talking about East Asia doesn’t mean I’m not allowed to use the word Asian.
